Product Description:
Twilight is an action packed, modern day love story between a vampire and a human. Bella Swan has always been a little bit different and when her mother sends Bella to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she doesn't expect much of anything to change. Then she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen, a boy unlike any she's ever met. Soon, Bella and Edward are swept up in a passionate and decidedly unorthodox romance. Like all vampires, he's immortal. But he doesn't have fangs, and he doesn't drink human blood. To Edward, Bella is that thing he has waited 90 years for: a soul mate. But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy. But what will Edward and Bella do when James, Laurent and Victoria, the Cullens' mortal vampire enemies, come to town, looking for her? This is the first movie from the book series from author Stephanie Meyer. The series are currently some of the most popular books written for young adults, with sales exceeding 50 million copies worldwide since the Twilight debut in 2004 and over 7.7 million copies sold in the U.S. alone. The fourth book in the series, Breaking Dawn, was released on August 2, 2008 and sold over 1.2 million units on the first day.
Album Description:
Every song on the Twilight soundtrack is featured in the movie. The soundtrack includes `Decode,' an exclusive song from Paramore written specifically for Twilight! 'I chose the title 'Decode' because the song is about the building tension, awkwardness, anger and confusion between Bella and Edward. Bella is the only mind Edward can't read and I feel like that's a big part of the first book and one of the obstacles for them to overcome. It's one added tension that makes the story even better.'-- Hayley Williams / Paramore.

- LOVE IT!! Muse's "Supermassive Black Hole" rocks and was perfect for one of my favorite scenes from the movie...the baseball game! It has definitely introduced me to different genre's of music than I normally listen to and I love the diversity of the music. The more I listen to it, the more I love it. Of course, I'm a HUGE fan of the books and the movie itself. I'm a true Twilight Mom...what can I say :-)

- Not Sure About the Movie, but the Soundtrack is a WinnerI've never read the books and wasn't as impressed as I'd expected to be with the movie, but the soundtrack is a gem.
The new Paramore track, "Caught Myself," is probably that band's best work to date. Mute Math, a smaller band that hasn't made many waves yet, turns in an amazing mix of their single "Spotlight." Some of the less bombastic tracks, such as the Iron and Wine song, are simply beautiful.
Not all of the material here is new--Muse's "Supermassive Black Hole," for ... Read More

- Love this soundtrack!I really enjoyed this movie & the soundtrack is excellent. I couldn't wait to buy this cd. There's lots of great songs on it, my absolute favorite is 'Go All the Way' by Perry Farrell - I'm playing it over & over again...I also love 'Tremble for my Beloved' by Collective Soul (been a fan of theirs since their very first album), I love 'Supermassive Black Hole' by Muse, and a delightful surprise is the songs by Rob Pattinson (Twilight's sexy vampire lead) - 'Never Think' & 'Let Me Sign' - he has a fantastic ... - See The Movie FirstWhen I first got this for my birthday four days before I went to see the movie, I was disappointed. The music didn't seem to fit. I didn't care for any of it at all really. Then I went to see the movie, and the music fell right into place with each scene. I went home and listened to the soundtrack again, this time with images of the movie scenes in mind, and I loved it. I read on here that a lot of people didn't like the music choices, because the music should be a lot of slow and romantic stuff, and that's ... Read More

- Highly recommendedThis soundtrack is excellent and has a variety of genres represented! The songs were not exactly what I "pictured" when I read the books, but almost all of them enhanced the scenes they were in, particularly Supermassive Black Hole (the baseball scene), Never Think (Port Angeles dinner), Eyes on Fire (Bella looking for Edward), and especially Flightless Bird, American Mouth (Prom). The one disappointment for me was that Let Me Sign, which played during a pivotal and beautiful part of the movie, was left off ... Read More
