Rating: - Disgusting, and man, what a letdown
Normally, I love Philosophy. I use the Purity cleanser every day. I have several of the 3-in-1s, and I use those to wash my hair, as they give me really great body. And I love their scents.

But this . . . this reeks. I don't understand why they can have such lovely smelling products and then this, which is one of their flagship items. Even the foot lotion smells good. Hope in a Jar smells so bad I can't even use it.

As someone with very dry skin, I was tired of moisturizers that were too thick and goopy. Hope in a Jar, on the other hand, is excellent! I have been using it for a couple of years now, and still love it. It's very light and absorbs quickly, but makes my skin feel moisturized all day. My skin has never had an allergic reaction to it, either.

HOPE IN A JAR IS AMAZING!!! I have very sensitive skin that is VERY prone to breakouts... from having acne for a few years I have dark acne scars all over my cheeks and chin.. This moisturizer is AMAZING!! The best benefit is the way it totally changes the texture and appearance of the complexion. My skin had never looked so radiant and beautiful. I really cannot believe the poor reviews I have just read about this product! Surely most of these people must be using something different - I have used Hope in a Jar for over 2 years now and my skin has never been better. I am 43, I previously suffered from extremely sensitive/touchy dry skin prone to breakouts and have found this to be the perfect remedy for it.
