I was looking for noise canceling earmuffs to quiet the constant din of the television so I could read in the same room as my family. I feel like they've given me my sanity back! Purchased the noise cancelling earmuff for use with a professional grade back pack blower. They work well and are very confortable. I would recommend to anyone that uses noisy landscape equipment or power tools. They are very reasonably priced as well.

The (passive) noise reduction works very well. [Noise Canceling usually means an electronic system, which this is NOT.] Wearing these, I can barely hear the lawn mower or circular saw; it is useful to be able to hear them just enough to know they are working correctly. With earbuds put on first, I can listen to my mp3 player/radio at normal volumes with full clarity.
