Rating: - Just flip up the flavor lid before you squirt
I came on Amazon knowing that people would be complaining about the flavor dispensing. Why? If you leave the flavor lid DOWN then the flavored liquid collects in the reservoir and you end up wasting a lot of flavor (it collects and solidifies). I ran into that problem early on, but the solution is extremely simple: flip up the lid of the flavor area before you squirt. Then, as you pour, squirt, and all of the flavor will go right in your glass.

I've owned this pitcher for two months and I haven't had any of the problems mentioned in the other reviews. The filter lasted for 1.5 months and I love how the indicator light went from green to yellow to red so I knew exactly when to change it. The flavor cartridge also lasted about 1.5 months (using 1-2 times a day) and the flavored water is comparable to flavored bottled water. Rating: - Great Tasting Water--and SO easy!
I love my pitcher! Really easy to use, fits in the fridge. Takes the slightly off taste and odor right out of the water that comes from the tap. It does take some rinsing to get the carbon taste out of the filter, but just keep trying.

Rating: - Nice pitcher design, water tastes worse than Brita
The pitcher:
My girlfriend has this pitcher/water filtration system at her house. I like the pitcher design; it is better than mine - I got the round Brita pitcher and it takes up too much space since it is round. A slimmer, deeper pitcher such as this fits in the fridge much better.

Rating: - Better than Brita but flavor is worthless
Flavor is ok, but that's irrelevant. The things jam up and do not work 90% of the time! At least in the pitchers... I don't know why or how, but I've tried fixing it and went through 4 bottle and they all stop working after a few days even though they are really full. The worst part was when I called Pur to point out the negative reviews of this and especially of some of their pitchers on Amazon, such as one that nearly everyone pointed out starts leaking from the bottom.
