Tens of thousands of people understand why PMP Exam Prep by Rita Mulcahy, PMP, is a worldwide best-seller. Is it Rita's years of PMP exam preparation experience? Rating:
- The De Facto PMP Exam BookRead whatever other book you want to read, but this is the de facto book to prepare for the PMP exam. Not perfect, but a must. While preparing for the exam, you also learn quite a few things about project management along the way.
Rating:
- Very Good BookThis is an very good book not only for PMP Exam but also practical day to day project management. The contents could have been better organized as sometimes you feel disconnect between two topics that are actually related. Reading it hand in hand with PMBOK is highly recommended. I would definitely recommend this.
Rating:
- Just passed the PMPGreat review material to pass the PMP.
I recommend that you follow Rita's instruction. Take her tone to be just a motivational technique. You don't need to purchase her question set. There are plenty of sample questions on the web for free, that can help. But her organization of the book and PMIsm are great. Read the book and you will pass the exam. It also really helps if you have been doing good Project management for a while.
Rating:
- The direct guide to PMPIf you want to approve PMP, this guide will open your eyes to the reality.
It follows the PMBok guide index focusing on relevant questions for the PMP exam and remarking the important concepts you have or you haven't to know on the exam.
Rating:
- Excellent book, but Amazon's packaging needs improvementNo problem with the book, but why does every order from Amazon show up poorly packaged with at least some damage to the cover? Soft and hardcovers arrive with dents, dings, and creases on the binding and cover edges. Worst case I've had to return the books for replacement. Come on Amazon, how about improving your packaging?
