- Not even slightly goodI love tea. I prefer fresh loose tea, but that's really unhandy at work, so I'm always on the lookout for reasonable bagged tea. After reading all the raves here, I had to try PG Tips. And I have no idea what you all are talking about. This tea is not even slightly good. I've tried varying the amount of water and the brewing time. I've tried using more than one tea bag. It's not even half as good as Red Rose Tea or even Lipton Tea. - Good basic teaSince trying black teas from Britain, I can never go back to the ones I find at the local grocery stores. It tastes way more like, well.. tea. The flavor is much more pronounced. There is less of a bitter aftertaste, though for this brand, there still is just a tiny bit in my opinion. I actually prefer Yorkshire Tea made by Taylors of Harrogate because it has even stronger flavor and less bitterness in my opinion - the best of all I tried (I drink hot with sugar only, no milk/cream). - YummyAmerican tea is dishwater so I drink PGTips. Strong British tea with plenty of caffeine. Amazon has the best price I've been able to find on-line, and free shipping too!
