The 2 GB Sansa m250 will hold approximately 32 hours of CD-quality MP3 tracks (encoded at 128kps) or 64 hours of WMA tracks (at 64kbps). It's compatible with MP3, WMA, secure WMA, and Audible audio file formats. The backlit LCD screen shows ID3 tag information for the currently playing track (song title, artist and album). Navigate the music on your player with ease, sorting by artist, album, song title, playlist or other criteria. With five equalizer types, you can optimize your sound for your favorite style of music, such as, Rock, Jazz, Classical, Pop, and Custom (user-defined). Keep the music coming with up to 19 hours continuous playback using one AAA Battery.
FM Radio
The m250 includes a digital FM radio tuner for portable radio listening. Easily access your favorite stations by adding them to one of the 20 presets.

Ease of Operation

- Carry a whole lotta music with you.This unit has worked woderfully well. I got may wife a 2GB SansaClip and she loves it, but said she like the lrger screen in this play. The clip is a bit handier. I also like that this unit has replaceable battery AAA size. I'm using a rechargabe. It is easy to operate even for clutses like me.

- Perfect MP3 player using AAA batteryI got this player after my Creative Nano Plus got stolen. I need a player which allows me to pop in battery. Those players with built-in battery do not appeal to me, as many a times these battery flat out when you are outdoors.
There are reviews to say that there are noises in the music. This is not true, as music in 128 kb bitrate sounds good to my ears without noises as some people claim.

- Birthday giftBought this item for the grand kids for their birthday.They arrived fairly fast and in bulk packaging(as i knew I had ordered them).No instructions and no disc, but again I knew that going in.The grand kids got them and from what they have told me there are no problems with them.The FM radio works fine and they are able to download music in the plug and play format.There is the ability to go SanDisk web site for downloads of the instruction manual and I believe there is a download for the disc as ... - confusedi was very excited when i got the player but the battery wasnt included like they said it would be (not a big deal). it arrived sooner than expected. my biggest and only problem with it is that it has a playlist option but without the book for it I cant use this at all. i need to scan through all my songs to find ones that i want. also unless you look at the last pic on the site you dont realize how thick it really is. overall i wanted a good cheap mp3 player and i am very happy with it

- Fabulous little thing, great value!After agonizing and ogling all the Ipod info, I decided to forgo the beauty of the Ipod and get this little guy for my first mp3 player. I LOVE it! It is so tiny, I can stick it in my pocket and go...no one even knows it's there. The Ipod is about five times bigger. If you want an mp3 player and don't need a video display, this is the one. For $30, it's a STEAL! It's also so easy to sync w/your windows PC. Run and get one!
