- A lot for your buckWhen buying this clarinet you get a lot for your money. I'm just an eager amateur, but play a lot (swing jazz). I have one home in Europe and one in Florida and got tired of bringing my clarinet back and forth. My "main" clarinet is a Buffet and stays in Europe. So I bought one to use in Florida, but wouldn't use that much money on it. However the "Amazon" clarinet is surprisingly good, compared to my other $2,000 instrument.

- Great for beginnersThis clarinet is a great buy for those who are learning to play or those who are looking to pick it up again. I wanted to relearn the clarinet and was looking for an inexpensive instrument. This fit all my needs. It has a good sound and no frills. One reed was also ready and waiting for me in the small, lightweight carrying case.

Nice tone right out of the box even though I hadn't played in over forty years. I've started with the brginners book and hope to be playing again in a couple of monthe, Now if only my lungs hold up.
