- Excellent Acting, Suspense filled, true life drama.......This project is first rate. Lindsay Wagner gives an Emmy calibur performance as the unexpected heroine in tragic circumstances. The production values are also first rate. It is refreshing to see a hijack story told so vividly and with solid performances from supporting cast, this is a story you will care about.The Flight was nominated for Best TV Movie or Mini-Series, It should have won. Lindsay Wagner deserved an Emmy nomination as well.This is one to view!

This film, known also as "The Taking of Flight 847: The Uli Derickson Story", describes the first two days of the TWA hijacking from 1985. The focus is on the heroic actions of the chief flight attendant, who Wagner plays in the movie.
