Amazon.com:
A philosophical quandary: when we truly get a glimpse behind the mask, do we like what we see? This eternal question is directly addressed in chapter 7 of the famed Friday the 13th gross-out series. Here, indestructible killing machine Jason meets his match in the form of a telekinetic teenage girl. Yes, it's "Carrie Goes Camping," although the young lady with special powers might have picked a better vacation spot than Crystal Lake, which has an awful track record for young blondes in tight jeans. This installment is exactly no better or worse than the previous Jason-o-ramas, with the added bonus of a climax in which the imperturbable Mr. Voorhees actually duels someone with supernatural gifts to rival his own. Yes, he does lose his hockey mask (the heroine mind-wills it to pop off), and the results ain't pretty--but then, neither is the Friday the 13th franchise. --Robert Horton

- Jason's biggest challenged sequel FRIDAY THE 13TH-PART 7:THE NEW BLOOD isn't too shabby, although the FRIDAY THE 13TH sequels kinda started to drag after this one, since the action seemed to have started becoming more predictable and less sophisticated kind of like the HALLOWEEN and NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET sequels did afterwhile.
In FRIDAY THE 13TH-PART VII, the grizzly Jason Voorhees(Kane Hodder) accidently gets revied again by a foxy traumatized gal(Lar-Park Lincoln)with telekenetic powers to defend herself against ... Read More

- A darn good film, despite MPAA butchering -- Kane Hodder is the best Jason everThere's just no two ways about it - Kane Hodder was born to play Jason, and he is flat-out awesome in Friday the 13th Part VII - The New Blood. Thank goodness for that because the story itself is pieced together with spit and gum, the ending is a little north of over the top, and virtually every death scene was mercilessly cut to satisfy the infernal blowhards at the MPAA. I can understand the necessity for this cinematic butchery in terms of the theatrical release, as an X rating would have seriously ... Read More

- Another go aroundThis is the seventh entry in the long running series and by now Jason has gotten away with enough murders to make any other serial killer jealous. Too bad all of his murders in this movie were very tame. But if you want to see alot of cut footage go to YOUTUBE to see what you missed out on. Type in Friday the 13th uncut and it will bring you to about 6 minutes of spliced together scenes from part 7.
This time Jason meets a willing and able adversary in a girl with special powers. She is a troubled ... Read More

- Cut classicI was 8 years old when my dad worked on this film (Don Cely: Best Boy Electric), but I didn't get to see it until a year later on HBO. My dad was warning me of all the gore that was in it and how they created a couple of the effects (the head squeeze was filled with fake blood and that marshmallow stuff you get in a jar). Then, to our surprise, none of the gore was in it. We were both disappointed, especially since my dad had talked it up so much (mainly so I wouldn't get scared).
Anyway, at some point ... Read More

- CARRIE VS. JASON....PLACE YOUR BETS!!!This is a pretty good sequel. It's a lot better than Part V, but isn't as good as Part VI. Tina has telekinetic powers and accidentally resurrects Jason. She has to battle him using her powers like Carrie at the Prom! It's awesome! It's also cool that we see what Jason looks like. He is more of a monster now. If you love Carrie, and the Friday the 13th series, you'll love FRIDAY THE 13TH PART VII: THE NEW BLOOD!!!
