My husband & I both do the P90X workouts & I have to say for all of you out there - This is the BEST mat we've found. Unfortunately we went through a few yoga mats each until we found the Manduka Black mat. All the other mats tore up with the Plyometrics workout - but this mat not only provides great cushion for leaping, but my husband (who sweats a LOT in yoga) doesn't slide around like on the others. Rating: - Very comfy but heavy for travel
I gave this to my husband for his birthday. He does yoga at home with videos. He loves the mat, it is much gentler on his knees. It is a bit heavy, so just beware of that if you intend to travel with it.

Yes, the mat is the Taj Mahal of yoga mats as described by someone. Cushioning is perfect for spine, and with stability due to non- slipperyness,the stretching in hathyoga becomes better leading to a quicker attainment to sidhdha in asana(posture).Also,I would purchase the longer one 85" later and give this 71" one for women in the house for their exclusive use.It will last a lifetime,this claim also appears based on fact.Thanks.
