From the Butterfly Meadow pattern, the surface of the party plate features on one side a whimsical dragonfly hovering among delicately painted leaves in a light green. The other side depicts a brilliant flower, with larger lush leaves sprouting around its golden yellow bloom. Dishwasher-, microwave-, and oven-safe, Lenox discourages the use of abrasives or hard scrubbing to protect the fine artistry of this party plate. - Party Plate? Saucer SizeI can't imagine how one would use this as a party plate, unless one is purchased for each guest -- and then the price would be prohibitive! The size is only somewhat larger than a saucer and much smaller than a sandwich plate. RATING: Bad investment

- Versitile size. Love it!I use these plates all the time. Covers for warming things up in the soup bowl, great for items like bagels or English muffins. Another plus: in this age of trying to reduce portion sizes and hence weight, these are perfect for reasonably sized individual portions of salads and sides.
