- K&H Lectro Kennel heated padThe unit worked only two nights and then stopped. Also the pad is a hard plastic case with a thin fleece covering. It can't be very comfortable, especially for older dogs.

I want to put the mat in a small dog house to block the wind, but it is rigid and will not fit through the door, so I am going to have to find or build a house that works. she hasn't (at least yet) The fleece cover lasted a day before she shredded it. It doesn't seem as warm as it should be but keeps the
doghouse warm enough for her to stay out all day in freezing temperatures.
