It offers the best of a wide range of ideas, trusting the readers to make decisions of taste on their own. That said, one theme tends to run throughout. HOUSE BEAUTIFUL is replete with a helpful variety of quality pictures of possiblities for room-set up. It also contains relevant and meaninful articles that can directly apply to current decorating needs and issues.

Of the many shelter magazines I subscribe to, this has to be in the top three. This magazine is a huge improvement over what it was even a few years ago. A good mix of freshened up traditional, fun, and not-too-concretey modern interiors. Not as funky as Domino, often more current and fun than Veranda and Southern Accents.
