- Works very well. Sometimes rattles slightly.I use the Highland 20046 Pet Barrier and 1 extension kit in my 2008 Ford Taurus X. I recommend the product highly. I am battling with a slight rattling sound. But I'm pretty sure I'll be able to eliminate the problem by using the tightening screws like I'm supposed to! I recommend this product. Incidentally, I also employ an off-white mosquito netting barrier to keep the dog hair (Yellow Lab) out of the passenger compartment. This works amazingly well. - Works and looks great!We recently bought a mid-size SUV and wanted something to prevent our two dogs from jumping over the back seats and keep them safe in the trunk area during our trips.
