I say if you want to have your boom box up so loud you can't hear a train then maybe you can see it coming. I would hope that most people driving have the ability to see a locomotive, yes? I remember the SantaFe "wig wag" signals. Wasn't a big light show but you got the general idea. Stop for the train or be flattened like a pancake
